What is hyperhidrosis treatment?
It is doctor-led care for primary axillary (underarm) and palmar (hand) hyperhidrosis: excessive sweating that interferes with daily life. Suitability is assessed in consultation. If treatment proceeds, results typically develop over the following days.
What happens at a consultation?
Forty-five minutes with Dr Sue. We discuss what's bothering you, assess your face at rest and in motion (or the areas of concern for sweating), and agree on a plan, or agree that no treatment is the right call. There is no obligation to proceed on the day.
What is the downtime?
Most people return to normal activities the same day. You may have mild redness or small raised spots for a short time. We do not recommend gardening, heavy exercise, facial massage, or lying flat for a few hours. Written aftercare is provided.
